St Austell Family Group’s high standards and commitment to improvement are recognised by the regional, national, and international awards we've received not just as a company, but for our pubs, beers, and training programmes too.
St Austell Brewery has been crowned UK Regional Brewer of the Year at the Publicans’ Choice Awards on a number of occasions. The only awards voted for entirely by pub licensees across the UK, the Publicans’ Choice Awards are highly respected across the brewing trade, with publicans being asked to take into consideration branding, quality, support, and customer demand before making their final decision on their champions. We consistently put the West Country on the world stage. Both our St Austell and Bath Ales beer portfolios boast a glittered history of honours and global recognition.
St Austell Brewery’s flagship beer, Tribute pale ale, is one of the region’s most famous beers and has scooped a variety of prestigious awards over the years, including ‘Regional Cask Ale of the Year’ at the Publicans' Suppliers Awards, ‘Best Bitter’ in the CAMRA Regional Champion Beer of Britain awards, and ‘Reader’s Choice’ by Food Magazine.
In 2021, three of our beers took home gold at the International Beer Challenge (IBC); we were awarded seven accolades in total. The same year, our flagship lager, korev, was named best ‘International Small Pack Lager’ at the International Brewing Awards 2021 – known as the brewing industry ‘Oscars’; we took home three gold medals and one silver in all.
